The French got close to breaking through early on. Then gradually got pushed back in a well fought 3 day campaign. The French artillery train is classed as Emplaced which is absurd, so we had to modify the OOB ourselves.

The French broke through British lines at several points, marched to a central position, and stalled.

They weren't strong enough to move off the map and they were too spread out to hold the central point despite their best efforts.
