Crossing is slow. Then columns have to form pike blocks. The English have a lot of artillery and several ships can bombard the Scots in flank as well. This causes disordering. Then the English longbow is murderous.
The result followed historical lines.

The Scots are at a clear disadvantage having to cross the river on one bridge and one distant ford. The Scots get bottlenecked, while the English have room to maneuver. The English longbow is devastating and the English Cavalry is much better quality backed up by Spanish Mercenaries. The galleys and greater English guns finish the English advantage.
