Yes, Ian, I totally agree that it would great to see revised versions of some of these older games. The problem is that changes to maps, OOB's, scenarios, etc would be a massive job. And given the long standing tradition of free updates, there would be no way to recover any costs. So it sounds unlikely to me and I am not sure there is any easy way around this. Having said that, I have a long standing tradition of being wrong with my future predictions, so who knows...
