Panzer Campaigns teaser guessing thread

RE: Panzer Campaigns teaser guessing thread
May I note that the map contours look a little misleading regarding the color. Light and dark green seem to blend in with terrain or look close to hexside features like canals. If a user activates contours he usually isn't able to distinguish the already pretty different hex colors, so something stronger would be nice. Brown like we currently have seems fine, nut I guess in muddy terrain that would also be a problem so maybe something even clearer is needed to work on all types of terrain in all conditions.

So are we talking about a Eastern Front monster map? Or just Austria 1945? Stop torturing us, man! Big Grin

Don't poke them with your finger, hit them with your fist!

That said, I'm looking forward to a global map including the NAZI Ufo base in the Antarctica. Jester

RE: Panzer Campaigns teaser guessing thread
Well, question is if we talk about a classic title around a battle or a title ala Salerno43 with smaller battles in different periods and areas.

I think a title in north area in 1941 or 1943/44 is interesting even when for 1941 i prefer south  Big Grin

I like more now the art and with new engine improvements looks like we are going to have a more easy to see map.

PD: or they add the not a lot secret base in the dark side of the Moon or nothing  Helmet Rolleyes

In terms of PzCampaigns, it should be represented as a river. The bridges leading over it (Salztorbrücke, Schwedenbrücke, Marienbrücke, Aspernbrücke, ...) have been demolished in April and Soviets required pioneers to cross it.

Good point, in the 1:500.000 map used by Strela most of the canal isn't visible. It's hard to tell if it's currently represented as a stream, but it doesn't look like it.
