Turn 18


Sector Gold Beach


The 56th infantry Brigade is landing beach, she is commanded by Brigadier Pepper, and is composed by :


-2sd The Essex Regt
-2sd Gloucestershire Regt
-2s South Wales Borderer


The 151th infantry Brigade is also landing beach, she is commanded by Brigadier Senior, and is composed by :


-9th Bn Durham Lt Inf
-8th Bn Durham Lt Inf
-6th Bn Durham Lt Inf


There is a lot of German infantry near Ver-sur-Mer.
I try to squeeze them with the soldier of Juno beach !

Sector Sword Beach


The 185th infantry Brigade is landing beach, she is composed by :


-2nd King's Shropshire Lt Inf
-2 Royal Warwickshire Regt
-1st Bn Royal Norfolk Regt


I start to deploy south. I have to help the bristish airborn on middle.

Sector Ranville


I take Lebiseay easyly, and Bieville is near to fall down !
But I need to take care of :
-the germain troops north to Bénouville (and Pegasus Bridge)

-The Germain Panzer IVD who had came from south to Le Mesnil !

On this turn I take 275 objectives points !


Yhe losses are :


-383 men, 10 guns and 19 vehicles for me
-640 men (!!!!), 36 guns and 8 vehicles for the Axis


I lost again hundred men but the Ration British/Axis is good!

Hi, that's was a long time I did not post my AAR ! So I continue.

6 June 1944 : 12:00


Turn 19




On Gold beach


The 151st Infantry Brigade is coming with :
-the 6th Bn Durham Lt Inf

-the 8th Bn Durham Lt Inf
-the 9th Bn Durham Lt Inf


They will help south on the German line.

The city of Ryes is near to be taken. The Road to Bayeux will be open after that.

Juno beach


There is a lot ob german battery near Basly and a long channel with a lot of german troops.

Sword Beach


The first tank, of the 13-18th Hussars Regt, are near the bristish paratroopers at Pegasus Bridge !
Their helping will be usefull !

But I need to take care !

On south, the 21st Panzer Division is coming with Panzer IV and a lot of arty vehicles !

Now the results :

On this turn I take 175 objectives points !


The losses are :


-223 men, 4 guns ,11 vehicles and 1 boat for me
-230 men, 21 guns and 3 vehicles for the Axis

Turn 20


In few words :

1) On Gold beach the 24th Lancer Regt is landing, with Sherman Firefly (3+1), who have a great fire-rate again Hard target (24/12)
!
With the 4-7th Royal Dragoon he belong to the 8th Armoured Brigade, commanded by Brigadier Cracroft.

In the next turn I think to take Arromanche and St Come de Fresné

In the other case Ouistreham is soon on my hand, and my first tank are helping Bristish airborn on Pegasus Bridge
