Reporting a Game Question
I am looking to report a game that I lost to krmiller in M41. I played the Allied side. krmiller played the Axis side.

Question: If I turn in a game report for the game do I list it as "Major Loss" from my perspective or from the First Player side - Major Victory?

Usually I am patient and wait for the winning side to turn in the report but I just cant wait to report my loss! ROFL

RE: Reporting a Game Question
If you report it, you report it from your perspective, which would be a Major Loss.

RE: Reporting a Game Question
Ok - I know I didnt screw up the form..... I entered in "Major Loss" - which is what I suffered ....

But the game report says that the Axis side - krmiller suffered the loss!

I need to have that game record removed.

From what I have seen from that .. its the result of the First Player in the scenario. At this point I am confused.

Please remove the game record in my profile vs. krmiller.

From now on the First player will report the battle. (last game I reported I was the Germans in the Budapest '45 game - I was the German .. I won a Major Victory .. the form was from the perspective of the First Player in that one I am sure).

If what i think is truly the case .. the form should have something that helps us understand how to fill that out .. maybe I missed instructions text page somewhere.

RE: Reporting a Game Question
Yes sorry about that there have been a number of wrong reports when registering games as it can be a bit confusing as to how to enter the info, I did request that guidance text should be added but unfortunately that was never implemented.

As I am sure you know that the way that Tiller style titles work is that the result is based on the performance of the player who moves first, the second player can never achieve a minor or major win, they "win" by inflicting a minor or major loss on their opponent or the game is a draw.

So as you say the "Final result" menu should be chosen from the POV of the first player who moves in any given scenario. Wink
