years since I played this game
has the graphics improved
or is it still the old  format

Hi; SP is now capable of being played at 1920x1080, so yes it has improved. I don't play it at that level though, I think mine is 1620.

I am talking the free version at Shrapnel Games by the way, not the DOS version. Did you use to play here?

I think the graphics look good. The maps look especially good. Take a look at the screen shots, over at Shrapnel Games. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
