RE: Modern Campaigns - Tactics and Strategies!
I have a question I haven't found a proper answer to, neither in the game manuals nor here.

I know minefields disrupt supply. But laying minefields with engineers can take many turns to complete. Some times it takes so many turns it's almost absurd considering each turn is 3 hours long. After all, in reality a road or a narrow pass can be mined pretty effectively in less than 3 hours by a platoon of soldiers armed with one or two mines aswell as an entrenching tool each. Hell, you don't even have to bury the mines to be able to create a minefield that will hinder the enemy for hours as long as it's placed were it can not be bypassed. Especially if the enemy doesn't have proper mine clearing vehicles at hand.

But what about blowing up bridges? I know it doesn't stop movement across hexsides, but slowes advances across said hex sides by an increased movement cost. But does a blown up bridge disrupt supplies in a similar fashion to minefields? Or does a blown up bridge do nothing at all to hinder or slow down supplies along a road?

Cheers!
