Blowing Bridges-Airpower

So, as I retreat across the snowy fields of Russia in the Kharkhov Grand Campaign, it occurs to me that it would be nice to be able to blow bridges using my tactical air support.  I am curious if the designers considered including something like this. It was certainly done by the AAF in Northwest Europe.  Any thoughts from the Illuminati?
