Barbarrossa, your PzB Kusrk experience makes you a veteran player of the series.  This tournament is for members new to the series at the blitz.  Do not worry, there will be a club wide tournament later this year open to all for Normandy.  It  is not like we do not have enough scenarios!

Cyrano and FroBodine are now added to the tournament lists.
DaveMic and nim8or need to add the Panzer Battles ladder to their profile.  See post # 30 in this thread by Compass Rose for how to do this.  Compass Rose is online most times so you can email of PM him if you need more help in registering for the ladder.
You must be a ladder member to participate.  All tournament games count on the ladder.

We have 17 confirmed members ready to go.  If you are on listed in this post post again on thsi thread so I have you included if I missed anyone.

DS,

I am a Panzer Battles Newbie - you may check the ladder, still in bootcamp with one ongoing game with Dennis. Never played Kursk, Normandy is my first step outside Squad Battles world.

Can I play, pretty please, huh, can I, can I?

<grin> I think I'd like to sqare off against fellow newcomers to the PB world!

Gray Nemesis and Stejones 82 are added.
Scots Greys, please excuse my mistake in adding you to this tournament in post #39.  Your profile indicates you to be a PzB Kursk veteran and not eligible for this tournament.  There will be a full club tournament later in the year.  Sorry for my error.

We have 20 confirmed members registered on the PzB Ladder.  We will start now.  anyone who still wants to be in can sign up on the PzB ladder and this thread by Wednesday 1/27/2016 can still get in.

Match ups for the first round are on the Blitz Competition Page.

Each round will consist of playing two games of the same scenario against different opponents.  One game will be as the Allied player, the other as the Axis player.  Both games should be played at the same time to finish on time.
We will be on a tight schedule.  Deadlines for each round will be posted on that round's competition page.  Anyone not finishing on time may be dropped from the tournament.  We want to finish in time to start the full club tournament on time later this year.  So please be courteous to the others in the tournament and keep up.  The scenarios are small, so this should not be hard to do.

Round 1 starts 01/25/2016 and should end on 02/28/2016.

Best to everyone!  If you have any questions post in this thread or email me.

RE: PzB Normandy tournament for beginners
Hi

Can I just confirm the first game is one of the campaign series?

i.e. we start a campaign - load the first scenario as a PBM and pick a side using default rules?

Thanks

Chris

Hi,

All campaign scenarios can be played normally without starting the Campaign game.

Just start the game normally and if you scroll through the scenario list you will see all the campaign scenarios towards the bottom. The scenario you want will be listed there and you can play it like any other scenario.

RE: PzB Normandy tournament for beginners
Are we using the default options for all scenarios? What if we have changed the options from another game? Do they stick, or are they set per scenario?

Thank you again for setting this up, Dog Soldier.
