No, the tournament is ready to go.  The first patch could easily take months.  Why wait?
If the first patch comes out during the tournament, we will upgrade everyone at that time. It may not affect he round being played, but it will affect the next round.
The changes proposed for the first patch will not have any major impact on the scenarios being selected.

If there is room, I would like to play in the Normandy Tournament.

I have now played several games in Kursk but was too late to take part in the that Tournament. I am starting to play games in Normandy  but have finished nothing to date.

Oh man, I haven't been on the forum in 10 days and look what I missed!

I would LOVE to play in this tournament if there is still room and time to get in.

Please let me know! I can commit to the full tourney.

RE: PzB Normandy tournament for beginners
I have seen the resent posts.  I am still vetting out the final scenario list.  I want to kick this tournament off this weekend if I can get it ready.  Sign ups will remain open through Friday.

Wiggum dropped out.  Maybe another time, Wiggum
Barbarrossa, your PzB Kusrk experience makes you a veteran player of the series.  This tournament is for members new to the series at the blitz.  Do not worry, there will be a club wide tournament later this year open to all for Normandy.  It  is not like we do not have enough scenarios!

Cyrano and FroBodine are now added to the tournament lists.
DaveMic and nim8or need to add the Panzer Battles ladder to their profile.  See post # 30 in this thread by Compass Rose for how to do this.  Compass Rose is online most times so you can email of PM him if you need more help in registering for the ladder.
You must be a ladder member to participate.  All tournament games count on the ladder.

We have 17 confirmed members ready to go.  If you are on listed in this post post again on thsi thread so I have you included if I missed anyone.

Confirmed in the tournament
Compass Rose
gaabeeg
Cyrano
KGRangerBooBoo
Al
panzerade
Chris Merchant
Vatutin
surcouf
routed
flynavy
scots greys
FroBodine
Paul
Pinetree
Doctor
casebier

Need to join Panzer Battles Ladder
DaveMic
nim8or

That makes an odd nineteen.  We need  at least just one more; or more.  This looks to be a great tournament.

Ladder added. I'm looking forward to this - I'm sure I'll learn a lot from everyone!
