Team PBEM?

c_Question Mark  Team PBEM?
Has anyone done or is interested in team vs team pbem in Combat Mission 2x? Back a few years (10+) I found it really enjoyable to fight battles in this way.

Basically it was put forward in an old Talonsoft game scenario by Thomas Klimisch who tried some scenarios where we would each take a command position of (corps, divisions in that game) platoons, sections in Combat Mission x2. Give orders and save it, pass it to our team mate who would then advance the turn and send it off the the other side to do their thing.

For added "flavor":
Communcations can be limited. I expanded on this in the old Civil War game Murfreesboro with a scenario which had rules for communications between commanders, but basically the idea is that to simulate the communications, the commanders start the game with an overall strategic plan that must be carried out as ordered until new orders arrive. The new orders can be discussed every X amount of time from the start of the game. The exception is that you may freely discuss everything only when you are within X distance of each other or within radio contact etc.

Downside is that the number of team mates on each side increases the time for the game turns per week.

Thoughts?
