v2.02 op fire ?

v2.02 op fire ?
Alrighty, another question :)
In the past I used to set " global " op fire by clicking on any empty hex and pressing " D " on the keyboard. It brought up the op fire box for all units, then I set op fire individually after that for each unit. I have always had this habit as op fire didn't always seem to stay how you wanted it. Now under v2.02 that doesn't happen. Seems that you just set it individually for each unit ? Hope the explanation is clear !
Thanks
Cam

It's a new keyboard shortcut, "Control-P". You can see all the shortcuts by pulling down the "Unit" menu at the top.

Welcome back, by the way. Smile

For every game action available, there's now a i) Menu Item, ii) Toolbar Icon, and a iii) Hot Key combo implemented.

Indeed look at the Menus to see the Hot Keys for each action, or alternatively, hover the mouse over the respective Toolbar Icon to learn the Hot key

Here's Berto's Coder Diary 2, with the discussion of hot keys, dating back some 12 months, before 2.00 was out. Did not come out half bad eh!

Great work, Berto! So much thought to detail.

RE: v2.02 op fire ?
That Coder Diary #2 is much obsoleted, of course. But it lays the groundwork well.

By now, I am so much used to the luxury of having hot keys for almost everything, so much enjoying the new interface extensions, that I find it painful to play JT's older (and new!) games without these conveniences.

RE: v2.02 op fire ?
I understand how to set the universal settings for op fire. But how do I set individual unit's op fire?

Select unit(s) first. Then do the Ctrl-P to summon the Opportunity Fire Dialog. You will see that for other firing unit types, the controls are dimmed. Anything you set should only apply to the selected unit(s), not generally, by category.
