Artillery fire on reinforcement area

RE: Artillery fire on reinforcement area
I'm against limiting arty fire on reinforcement areas. It all comes down to gentlemanly, if you haven't played the scenario, don't open it. If you have played it, don't act as if you knew what is going to happen but rather wait for a signals (i.e. don't shell a reinforcement area in advance, but once you see a contact report, unleash hell).

I've had my attack line 100m from the deployment zone shelled. Was it unfair to me? It wasn't, I could have attacked from another side. Did my opponent do well? He certainly did, and I would have done (and have done, in the same scenario, opposite side) the same.

It depends on the scenario, too. I'm speaking about MG Borderland, which is a large scenario with extensive deployment zones. To sum it up: if you can predict a move or reinforcements, counter it with all the means you have.
