Terrain Effects RCW'S
Hello, was playing TT3_Iberian Valley in RCW. The scenario has objectives across the river in the barbarian village. Problem is there is a river with some shallow water fords but BOTH sides of the banks of the river are marsh hexes. Marsh is impassible to all the Roman units in the scenario except for a few slingers.... Since its a frozen map I was assuming that there were special rules for frozen terrain ie marshes would be passable to heavier troops, but that is not the case. Was/is there a plan to have different terrain effects for frozen maps, TBA? If not, the map should be adjusted so the Romans can actually get to sack those huts for a little R&R :)

Hi Mouser.

You're right about frozen marsh hex being impassable (not sure if this WAD or not), but Tabletop3_Iberia_Valley scenario can be finished without problems as it is.

No need to reach the village, just defeat the main force.

I think in some battles, objective hexes are there for the AI to have a reference.
