Graphic bug in Greek-Persian Wars?
Hello, I'm new to the AW games and this board.

Does anyone have Greek-Persian Wars?

In 3D view, Spartan legendary leaders show like Iberian Scutarii.

Can someone load Thermopylae or Amphipolis scenarios and locate Leonidas/Brasidas to confirm this is true?

It only happens in game, in the editor leader units look ok.

Cheers.

Some images to show what I mean.

Thermopylae:

Amphipolis:

Tried in another computer, same results in 1.03 as in 1.05.

Thanks!

This looks like the programme is looking at the wrong image when calling up the leader graphic, I will check it out and send HPS an update. This should be easy to resolve. Please check the HPS site for an update in about 1 week's time. Thank you for highlighting this bug.

Another thing I've noticed, again in Greek-Persian Wars (1.05).

Scenario 115_Plataea_a seems broken.

In turn 3 (sometimes turn 2), before any combat takes place, the Thebans switch to the Spartan/Greek/Athenian side. That's almost the entire Persian right wing, and the battle turns... well, kinda messy :)

This happens playing as Persian or Spartan against the AI, did not test PBEM/Hotseat.

I looked at the GP_Editor.exe file in your game main folder. This is the game's scenario editor and allows you to access the settings on each scenario. I see that the scenario creator for this scenario (Rich White) put the loyalty of the Theban army units at only 77%. ie there is a 23% chance they will change over to the Greek side. I have attached a modified scenario where their loyalty to the Persian cause is 100% and they will not change sides.
This is one of the features of Ancient Warfare where you can choose the loyalty of one nation in multi-nation or multi-State armies. This increases the realism of the game and adds a little spice. However, it can be disconcerting when your right flank suddenly turns on the rest of your army.
The Greek Wars game has also been updated to address the 'Legendary Leaders' bug and will be on the HPS web site in the next few weeks.
I hope this helps.

Nice, sure it helps.

And I agree army loyalty is a great feature: I've already played Tanagra 457 scenario, where the Thessalian Cavalry change sides, as historical account. Really cool to see this added.

Thanks again, downloading Smile
