Leipzig 1.04 Is Out!
Guys, point your browsers to the John Tiller Software update page found here:

http://johntillersoftware.com/Updates.html

for the Leipzig 1.04 update. Over 400 files included. I updated over 200 files this time to include all or most of the PDT files.

The Ships rule was added in - no ships in scenarios but you can feel free to come up with some scenarios on your own if you wish.

Dragoons are now +10% for melee. Most Dragoons in the game now use the Dragoon type (read the end of the Notes.PDF file for a short blurb I wrote on my basis for which units have or do not have the D type and why I am still using the S - Sword weapon type for them).

Any other changes to the Bautzen Main Program were incorporated into the Leipzig Main Program not covered here.

Hope you enjoy this. Lots of customer complaints addressed. Thanks for your input! Sending email to Rich Hamilton gets the info to me so I can update the game.

Note: I hope to only have to do at the most TWO more updates on this title. My next update would be only if really needed and my final update would be done (if I am still alive! LOL) when the entire series is finished.

I am not sure which one John will do next but based on Leipzig being first I am guessing he is doing them in the order that they were released so 1814 should be up next. Hoping to see these over to me soon for final checking.

Enjoy guys! Thanks for buying the games and hope this really helps.

Final note: Cezary Pluskwa did a lot of the update to the Silesian battlefield maps. The maps changed were Goldberg, Lowenberg, Katzbach and the Brunzlau.map file (wrong name) now has been properly named. All of these map files have a name of "CP" in front of the map name. The older maps are retired (but still in the folder). All scenarios now point to the new map versions.

Note: thus with a NEW map name your current games using the old maps will not be impacted in any way. In order to play using the new maps you must start up a new scenario that uses one of the new map files. Basically any of them that have Katzbach, Goldberg, Lowenberg or Bunzlau in the name (and the campaign scenarios that use these maps as well).

Here is a list of the new map files by Cezary:

CP_19.08.1813_Bunzlau.map
CP_20.08.1813_Bunzlau.map (this map shows the damage caused from the previous day's combat - it is not used but I added it in for historical purposes and for folks to use in their own scenarios)
CP_Goldberg_Large.map
CP_Goldberg_sub.map (uses data from the above map)
CP_Katzbach_Liegnitz.map
CP_Katzbach_sub.map (uses data from the above map)
CP_Lowenberg.map

Thanks again, Cezary, for helping out! A big bonus for all of us and much needed too. I did not have much to work on for these battle maps and this really brings the maps more to life too.

RE: Leipzig 1.04 Is Out!
I have always said the JTS and John Tiller HPS titles have the best customer service and game support in the business. After reading what you just posted, this easily backs it up that statement that much more.
NAP2

Thanks for helping make the JTS/ HPS NAP series one of the most enjoyable series to play!

A update version of 1.04a was just released.

You can locate it here:

And the 1.04a update is not incremental so if you didn't do the 1.04 update you can just use the 1.04a update instead.

1814 is probably up next and then Bautzen.
