Using EF2 units in WF

Using EF2 units in WF
Can anyone help me?
I don't know how to do anything technical on the IT side.
I spend all my thoughts, by choice, playing JTCS WF.

CAN ANYONE PROVIDE ME WITH AN UPDATED WF GERMAN JUNE 1945 AVAILABLE UNITS TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING THREE UPDATES:

1. EF2 Org Editor (Germany JUNE 1945 units) available units & Orgs. into
and/or combined with WF (Germany JUNE 1945 units). I would like
to design a WF post 1945 "what-if" scn. using units from EF2 (Germany
JUNE 1945).

2. Change the WF (Germany JUNE 1945 unit) PANTHER II to
PANTHER IIS. The change is to convert the PANTHER II to include
CS (Canister Smoke) capabilities and mine clearing capabilities, and
thus be listed as PANTHER IIS in the WF Germany JUNE 1945 units.

3. On-Board FIGHTER AIRCRAFT, AVAILABLE.
(THIS ALSO CAN BE DONE FOR TIME-FRAME JUNE 1945).
Change to allow on-board ME-109 Germans & P51 Americans.

I DON"T KNOW IF THE THREE PARTS LISTED ABOVE ARE COMPLEX
OR SIMPLE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS OR CHANGES!

CAN ANYONE MAKE THESE CHANGES FOR ME AND SEND TO MY
EMAIL ADDRESS: [email protected]

PLEASE ADVISE!

I responded to this in a way in the other thread.

LR
If you run, you'll only die tired.

One hand on the wheel, and one in the flame,
One foot on the gas, and one in the grave.

For what it's worth, my latest version of LWM mod (see the link in my signature) adds the British and US forces to EF side of things.

Maybe you could design your scenario to EF instead?

Adding new units requires among other things Jason encrypting the changed platoon files so it can not be done without him involved.

BK,
How do you request new units from Jason?
If I want (1) one new unit created, is that a complex or simple task for Jason?
I JUST WANT TO CREATE (1): PANTHER IIS
THE "S" stands for Canister Smoke & Mine Clearing Functionality.
And, have it available in JUNE 1945 listing.

I'm a real old fashioned sort of bloke. A lifetime in the service can do that to you. But it also taught me that you don't become elevated to general with your first breakfast at recruit school!!
Should we not be suggesting to new recruits that they play a few ladder games before getting involved with stuff like new element creation? What about getting into scenario design with what we have before rushing into mucking around with the platoon files?
BTW, if Big Daddy wants to get on the scoreboard, drop me a [email protected]

KK Rossokoiski,

Thank you for your offer! There are other design requirements for the scns. that I play.
That is the reason.

BD,

Who are you playing against?
Maybe we can meet at "The Rib Crib"?

I guess I am as puzzled as Rod. Why go through all the trouble to "mod' the game so that you can use a unit that has maybe a dozen individual tanks in it's entire production run?

We did have the discussion about German "supermen" and "super equipment" a couple weeks ago.

Do you design scenarios that others can play?

cheers

HSL

HSL,
How do u know about the rib-crib? My office is only (1) one block away.
Mr. Gray is not doing that well!
NO! I have not in thought about designing scns. for others. My reason:
I had a discussion with some engineers who work for MBB in Germany.
The discussion centered on R&D for Germany 1945. That discussion leads to the hypo.
"what-if". So right now (in the hypo. arena) I have dismissed Spear and I have taken his place.

The Rib Crib, in the 6k block of Germantown Avenue.
I pass by it twice a week.
Yes, they were closed down for a few weeks. Best ribs in Philly, if I could vote on it.

I understand the "what if" scenarios. I don't mind them at all.
Where I get "hinky" is when a unit is added that may have had a "one and done" production run that never saw combat. Some designers would use them in numbers that exceed "reality".
It's like playing a Kursk scenario that included Tiger II's, that were not even in development at the time, and more Elephants than were ever made.

Good luck with your efforts. I think that there are Tiger II specials out there that may be modded for CS. I know the old Blitz add on disk had some in it. But, that was for EFII and will not work with MatrixJTCS.

cheers

HSL,
That means you pass my office weekly! I'am in the 61XX GTOWN AVE.
That is strange. We will/should meet up one day for chat.
Don't mind my strange approach to "what-ifs" my gaming partner
who represents/plays the Allies is on the same page. Also - that is why
i don't design VERY LARGE SCNS. (Maybe two or three Army size scns.)
for others. I get some buried info. from the engineers in Germany, Munich
it is most likely info. that is in their mind only and I use those details/thoughts in potential upgrading of existing (proven) weapon platforms.
