Looking for Tank on Tank game
I am looking for a tank vs tank game. My kids like armor battles Tank1

I know of the PanzerBlitz series already.

Panzer looks neat:

Eastern Front Tank Leader (1986) is being re-released 2012 or so.

My kids (and me) like tank on tanks, not a counter that is 5 tanks.

Any ideas?

RE: Looking for Tank on Tank game
I need to dig through my old collection. I have a game that was quite low level, but used generic tank counters to represent tanks from any era. It was quite neat, being able to fight battles over such a wide range of timeframes, although I probably got it back in 1980 or so, so not the most modern battles. It is buried in my basement however - it may have simply been called Tanks, but I can't remember now.

Rick,
I would love to know the name of it. We like WWII (Eastern Front) battles,
but anything goes!

I should dig thru my basement & pull out my mirco armor. WWII & late 80's.
It's all painted up & ready to go.

IIRC, the old AH Tobruk has a fairly detailed Tank v Tank battle system.

Big Laugh That was my very first war game I ever bought! I loved that game till I let my Mothers friends sons try it out. Damn kid sold my game to buy
weed :angry1:

I should look into it again. My only dislike is the NATO style counters for
the infantry. I like "tiny" people on my counters Crazy

So, I just scored this for $11.25
Tobruk: Tank Battles in North Africa: 1942
Complete opened but unpunched counters.

Thumbs Up

Lock N' load has "Tank on Tank" ...I have not played it, but it has gotten good reviews...it is more lighter fare from what I understand but a fun system (with expansions upcoming):

I was looking at that one too. I never played it, but it kind of looks like
PanzerBlitz/ Leader

The review looks nice too.

I need to be locked up! I just picked this up for $22.50.

Every other copy I have seen is going for around $60 or higher Crazy

I almost picked up a brand new still sealed copy of "Conflict of Heroes-Storms of Steel", but lost in the last 10 seconds. It went for $40.00!
