Typical Tiger platoon consists of 4 tanks, or 28 VP.

From what I gather Rado was interested in using point values for "balancing" a scenario.

If the points available are used, as above, then two T34/43 platoons minus on tank (for 30 points) would be the equal (or greater than) of the four Tiger platoon?
I'm just saying that I do not think that it works in CS as it does in classic SP.

More factors need to be considered to achieve balance in CS scenario design.

Rado, plug away and when you are ready I can give you some help with testing. I like to design and test scenarios so that balanced and fun are the top of the list. When they are balanced and fun they are able to be played over and over from both sides! :smoke:

Agreed, and this is where Huib's document comes in handy for a brand new designer.

RE: Balancing a Scenario
LOL! :eek1:
I have the #12 poster loaded in my ignore list (to prevent any possible arguments that would result in moderator intervention - yes, it works for me). :smoke:
So, I guess, I will do without. It would probably be a useful tool to any new scenario designer. :chin:

cheers
