Great little scenario, lots of options for both sides with plenty of cover and trap opportunities, I think this was my first blitz scenario and I got toasted but still a lot of fun to play.

I've won this as Axis, but I lost and tied as the Soviets, never won (that I remember). The Soviets can attack from the south, center or north and begin the scenario heading in all three directions for a three pronged attack. I always combine two sections and feint toward the third, but obviously my attack skills come up short. As the Germans, I pretty much just respond.

I've allways played it with all optional rules except VV and EA. Not sure if EA would help or hurt.

Great map, I think, with lots of cover and ambush positions.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly

It is a fun scenario, I've played it once as Soviets. Results when back and forth til the very end. Lovely little map, lots of room for different tactics. :)
