Matrix Games are going to publish a remake of Pz Gen. It's going to be called Panzer Corps. Here's some info on it:

But the screens make me think it's going to be a remake of Pz Gen 1, not 2...

This guy Alex (aka Rudenkort) is making a faithful reproduction of the original Panzer General. Its being developed by the Lordz Games Studio. They are also working on The Great War period of WWI.Panzer Corps I believe is going to be released by Slitherine Ltd and Matrix. Here are some links to their sites. The screenshots look really good.Game has been upgraded a lot.

Cheers,Pointman.

RE: New version of Panzer General?
Panzer General is its predecessor but PGII was much better.

There is a newer game called Open General which is unbelievable.I've done a little beta testing for Luis Guzman with Open General. He's a great guy and genius IMO. If your interested, I've posted a link to his site for anyone with PGII to catch up on.This new system has it all, every time period of war there is can be played in this new OS.The graphics are the best available to date bar none. The suite editor is unlike anything you've ever used before.I can not say enough on whats being developed by this gentlemen. Its still in beta testing but can be dl'ed and played in its current state of development and is free.

Check it out for yourselves.

Cheers,Pointman.
