Message Board
I am personally in favour in going back to the old MB, which was simple to use and didn't have all the extraneous crap the new one does. However, I know, unfortunately, that this won't happen.

What I would like to see is sme way to save a draft in a long thread without it disappearing, so that one can read earlier posts, perhaps consult online refernces etc etc. At present it seem to me that one has to save it in some obscure corner, rather than in the area in which one is working.

Thanks

RE: Message Board
Compose it in Notepad or Microsoft word and copy and paste it into the forum reply box. :)

Not the point...that means opening an extra screen, or something. Surely we should be able to have direct access to the thread while contributing to it. I suppose I could write it out on a bit of paper, that way I can refer back to the thread

RE: Message Board
The message board software is provided by MYBB, the club has no control over how it is designed and the features it has, so we could not make this request possible, in your position i would open "new tab(s)" in your browser that allows you to leave your unfinished post and view any other webpages, it sounds to me that you believe you have to save your post before going to another page on the web, not so. :)

Like you there are some features about the latest version of MYBB i don't like, but we had to update as the old versions were vulnerable to hacker attacks and i am sure you didn't want your password stolen by a third party or the forum brought to a halt, amazingly there are people out there who get their fun from shutting sites like the Blitz down...go figure? :eek1:
