Game turns
How do you go about viewing the battlefield after combat resolution on a PBEM game turn?
The save game option window comes up after the completion of the combat round. I cannot get it out of the way to view the damage, advancements, etc. then send my turn.

Man I hope this make sense.:conf:

When you finish a pbem turn, program generates an END OF TURN.SAL file too. You can open it to check how finished the turn.

...except that I never get the end of turn file....

What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting that I need to change somewhere? I would like to see what happens after my turn, too, without having to wait for opponent's next turn.

And, BTW, doesn't viewing that end of turn file generate a "reload" message?

RE: Game turns
As far as I know, the "end of turn" file is generated automatically, there's no switch. You have to restart the game (because when you saved your turn, you were punted back to the desktop); select the "resume a saved game" button.....not the "pbem"....and you should see all the "end of game" moves listed, they all start with "end_of_turn_do_not_send_", then they designate the scenario & move number.

If you're not seeing it, it may be that your game is "auto saving" to a different location, some folks have reported that. To check that, do a search for files beginning with "end_of_turn_", and see where (if) they turn up.

The programmer has said that opening the "end of game" file mistakenly generates a "reload" message, and this should be fixed in the next patch.
