Ready to go

Ready to go
OK, I have worked through the most of the manual by now. I believe that I am ready for my first game. I haven't got around to the sections of how to set up a game yet, but if somebody is willing to set one up, I am more than willing to play.

Just two more questions. I see some of you talk about having a certain number of slots open. What is that about?
Lastly, I won't use a chopper in a WW2 game (just doesn't feel right), but how do you set it's altitude? I saw something about it but can't find it again. I must admit that I didn't know the Germans had early versions of choppers during WW2. Must have been close to the end of the war?

So, is there anybody out there that would like to kick my :censored: with this first game? :kill:

RE: Ready to go
Download version has only first five slots for PBEM. You can run into trouble if you have several battles set into one slot, full security has tendency to crash at some point.

Google flettner 282 to see some of the German helo material, one link below. Not many were built but they entered service during -42, not that late in the war :)

RE: Ready to go
Have you found an opponent yet? If not I think I have room for one more (SPWW2 or SPMBT).

RE: Ready to go
Sorry guys, was pretty busy this weekend, only saw these replies today.
@Fjun, thanks but I would like to take a raincheck on your offer. I have a game booked with Seahawk and I also would like to accept Zandhaas' offer as he is also a bootcamper like myself. No better way to get two guys out of bootcamp than matching them up against each other, hey Zandhaas?
@Zandhaas, OK let's go. I have slot 2 open, how about yourself? Let's carry on the conversation via pm's.

No worries. Just wanted to make sure that you wasn't stuck without anyone to play. Enjoy your games!

Thanks Fjun,
I'm sure that we will end up facing each other at some point in future.
