Maybe. Or just age. After ~13 permutations over the last 13 years the details do start to intermingle and contradict.

Makes sense. It's difficult to keep the little differences between SPWaW and WinSPWW2 straight and those are most current.

Hello Guys,

the 'w' key should work for any weapon.. sometimes it seems to 'mis-fire'.. but often it's beacause the weapon chosen has either the wrong ammp type for the target or it's out of range..

works fine for FT's also..

and a trick about FT's.. if you are have make a choise in a hex with both a squad and a vehicle.. shoot the squad with the FT.. the 'splash damage' from the FT will usually reduce the vehicle to retreating or routed status (armored) or simply destroy it (soft vehicle).. the targeted squad will usually end up retreating our routed also.. 2 birds with one stone..

The W key works wonders when you have an infantry squad with an AT weapon but its worth checking the %chance to hit to see if its worth the shot or waiting a turn, if the squad has a low chance to hit then you will more often than not waste the AT ammo blasting away and its better to sit tight (if you can) and wait a turn to get a better chance.

With elite units (who often have AT gear) this can really slow down an attack and with smoke or woods keep the enemy back.
