Converting Night scenarios to day
Does anybody play night scenarios? They are frustrating so I have found out how to convert them to day scenarios and given details in this attachment which I failed to send on my last try so here goes again

I don't know if you can convert Day into night by the same technique as I describe in my River Crsooing post. Try it and see. If not contact Raz who is most helpful

RE: Converting Night scenarios to day
Hi. It's possible to change a night scn to day using the same bte file. This can allow you to continue playing the scn.
I made a scn using this option. You can find the scn in the scn database as Cisterna. A Hot welcome to Rangers. The zip file contains a description to how do it. But I don't know if this work for the opposited effect.

I hope that help.

RE: Converting Night scenarios to day
Go to your West Front folder and check out the Dutch Verdun Dynamic Visibility Scheme.rtf file for Huib's scenario. Opens in Microsoft Word.

I'm not sure but it should work for other .bte files.

"11 lines beneath the scenario title is this line with the following digits:
0 4 5 These should be changed into 1 4 5. The first digit in this line is the night indicator. So as the first night comes visibility changes from 4 to 1.
After the Dutch player has finished turn 15 the same line should be changed back to 0 4 5 as the sun rose on the 13th of May."

Yes I do. I love them. Adds a whole level of depth and complexity.

Thanx!
