Everybody probably knows this...
... but i didn't, so;

Captured units trigger the "contact" in Move to Contact.

This can be (and was) a tad annoying!
Basically, a unit ordered to MtC within LOS of a captured unit will stop and you will lose a turns movement.

Learn something new every day, sigh.

RE: Everybody probably knows this...
Something else everyone probably knows: If you assign troops a "move to contact" order, and give them a covered arc, only enemy inside the arc will trigger them to halt. Of course, you run the risk of them ignoring a previously-unseen threat that pops into view outside their arc, or continuing to advance out of cover and into the open when you wish they'd stop.

Also, its any contact. An single 'ghost' infantry at the far end of the board will stop everybody dead, like a hundred guys and tanks will just dive to the ground because someone thought they say an enemy soldier. Move to contact is great but it has its limitations.
