Host crash in multiplayer mode (Moscow'41 - Stalingrad'42)
Happy new year to all wargamers :)

I've tried to play Moscow'41 and Stalingrad'42 with a friend via TCP/IP (distant or on a LAN either) and we could establish connection without any problem. But the game crashes to desktop for the host (whatever my friend was or I) as soon as we end the first part of turn 1 when we are opponents :(. When we tried to play on same side, the game just not started at all after selection and connection, we stayed on waiting...

Routers have good parameters, firewall and antiviruses are desactivated ; we also tried to desactivate autosave, sound effects and background... with no effective change in behavior of the game :(

The 2 games were applied the official patches and no mod was running on.

Versions of directX are the same (9.0c) for both computers, as so for sytems (windows XP).

Anybody ever experimented such difficulties ? I browsed forums without notice even once such a problem...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can't say that I have - but then again the largest amount of LAN play Ive seen or been involved with is at the Tillercons and I can't recall frequnet reproduciable crashes to desktop.

Try contacting Rich at HPS tech Support and see what he's got to say.
