Reinforcements In D85 West Germany
Why do reinforcements for NATO and Warsaw Pact stop by the 14th of June. It seems like they would still be flowing in....Just wondering what the rational is.

RE: Reinforcements In D85 West Germany
It's a big Game Titan and the trick with Big games is keeping them playable in terms of number of units and number of turns. So we opted to put the units we have in play and not have the game stagger under increasing weight of more and more units than we already had.

Consider Normandy44 - most wiill agree the 750 turn CG is unplayable due to length but frankly even the shorter one has too many units for my taste and this full Germany CG has extra complexities on account of the S|Os mentioned in the other posts.

I wouldn't worry. My guess is someone will create a mod within about 3 months which adds a good 7 or 8 divisions to either side Big Grin

The European modern campaigns do seem to attract more modders than all the other games, except maybe Bulge 44

For sure - but keep in mind the Germany Game with NGP and FG was big enough and we've added more now.

You need only look at Normandy 44 to understand that MORE is not always better. Sometimes more is just overwhelming which I expect is why people haven't made a Cobra and many other scns - advance to Falaise, ect ect in that game. Just too many units for the map. But it sure s pretty to look at.
