no money back yet, could take up to 60 days to get a credit if the Card COY agrees with my assessment of the BF product not meeting advertised claims.

I Emailed BF sales as well to get either a written denial for the Card COY evidence file, or a refund without any dispute..

Phil,

I saw the blurb for this game and thought it`s not worth buying.

I know you only play QB games and thats your choice, and I am glad that you realise this game is a complete crock !.

(FGM)Phil Davies Wrote:Another thing I forgot to mention in my last post was the lack of stats, I liked to see what thickness of armour my rounds will penetrate at different distances. I also like to know who has killed what at the end and how many kill each made, firepower of infantry at different distances also, all these things add up to a lot and that's what made CM good.

My pain exactly. This was the topic of the "under the hood" debates on the BFC forum. Enough to say that they are heading in the opposite direction (as you can see), though even CMx1 lacked reports and logs.

Bummer.

WEGO is brilliant; I try them but always end up despising RTS games. After a few hours of the demo this is happening again.

The difference? Simple: the new game is not Combat Mission.

I like old games ( like CM).

Thats why I still love playing Civ2 after all these years.

That was easier than expected.. Refund issued..

I'm with Phil Davies.....there is an extremely good game lurking here, if only it can be let out.
