About the AI: VM France 40 Alt
The AI seems to be doing odd things. Fixed Allied units with hold orders are moving all over the place. Would somebody please explain what I don't understand.

Well, I have not done anything with the AI. The "Alt" scenarios are primarily for PBEM so I do not change anything in that regard. That said, the stock campaign probably plays the same way and you will find that the AI generally does all manner of odd things at times.
