HI All
It's SP CAMO all the way for me.
Only ever played MBT and WW2...except SPIII for my first two games at the Blitz.
I have two installs of each game.

Cheers

WinSPWW2 and WinSPMBT only.

Tried WAW (circa ver 5 or thereabouts?) but really, really didn't like it. Hated the sound effects, too! (Especially that one of a railway engine's wheels going round a tight curve)

What is better in SPWW2 than for example 7.1 HH or 8.4 enh. ??

nothing better, its just different and probably suits most tastes. I would say it is better developed, although WaW original engine was more advanced at start. However CAMO have spent thousands of hours finetunning and betatesting WW2 & MBT engines, correcting errors brought to the light by players and adding extras. WaW engine is long time dead, and H2H / Enh are just the mods (well done BTW- if WW2 wouldnt exist I personally was happy to play WaW mods. Limited time forced to choose, but I seem to always have one H2H game on go anyway), but you cant compare the mod to rewritten engine. Original SSI engines are called 'spaghetti' if this tells you something :)

So to cut long story short (you can browse this forum to find at least several discussion on the topic in last few years) I dare to say : if CAMO got the other engine to work on, we would all probably play WaW nowadays ;)

What Czerpak said really, i just personally enjoy playing the WinSP games more than the older WaW games. They are still good but i just like all the neat little touches the CAMO guys have introduced like Op Fire filtering and higher res, but lets not forget my dislike for WaW's permanent smoke problem.

Hey Czerpak are we still having that rematch?

cheers
