In the photo above, the dead crew member is a testament to the survivability of PAks, yet I spy a knocked out Panther down the road...curious...:smoke:

Yo, and in the Pak pic there seems to be a knocked-out Sherman on the grass verge back down the road facing away, it might be this one..

As for guns, the Pak 40 crew in this pic (Italy) show how they should preferably be dug in waiting for the enemy -
