In order to be on the CM ladder you basically have to do a single thing:play and report a game-which will get you out of the bootcamp.For more info:

As for tournaments,just keep an eye on the message board.Whenever there isa tourney which needs recruits you will know

You simply let one of the Sharks.. here, beat the "living crap" out of you.. and you're in..
