How about a rookie team game

How about a rookie team game
I know you long-time members play these team contests and might be reluctant to have one of us beginners join.

So, maybe there are some Rookies out there that would like have the team experience, but I think we might need an experienced player on both sides to guide us.

How about a couple of gurus starting a team game for us newbies???

Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

RE: How about a rookie team game
Very good idea

Team gaming really enhances the wargaming experience. One of the best battles under my belt were teamers. those finished Big Grin and those that were not Cry

I would suggest one vet per side as C-in-C and two newbies per side. Another recommendation would be using the Call the Ball system as it really speeds up the battle.

Beware, that's really long lasting commitment :smg:

RE: How about a rookie team game
I am a rookie who would be into a team game. I have no idea what this entails however, and I am a little scared off by Valor's comment of a long lasting commitment as i will be heading to Thailand for a couple of weeks in February and would hate to hold up a team game. If we could finish before then, or people don't mind waiting a bit....then give me a message at ....

Grizzled vet here willing to take on a rookie team game. Two vets and four rookies is an excellent way to get some new blood involved!

mcwk: Don't let a little two week vacation in Feb deter you - your team will either pick you up or the game will slow down a bit.

Let me know if this goes anywhere..?

Vet? Let me think... the one that was sitting at the bar here too long like me? Big Grin Just kidding...

By mentioning vet, I ment someone who has already played in temagames and can take command of one side to share his knowledge with others, who did not played it yet...

Are you up for C-in-C post, Cam?

Cheers cheers

RE: How about a rookie team game
Cam, it seems you and I are kind of in the same boat - been around a while, have less than stellar records and have a lot of fun playing.

Both of us being "Grizzled Vets", how about we team up with the 4 rookies that have posted: You take Montana Grizz and mcwkjoyce, and I will take The Rattler and Falkenhayen.

I will send an email tonight to make sure everybody is on board...
