German News for the following Turn

German XXVI Korps pushes north through St Niklaas their objective clearly is Gent and the flanking of any allied divisions still moving east towards the front lines.

IX Korps launches a direct assault over the river through Willebroek and Ramsdonk bringing the remaining Belgian forces to battle and their destruction.

XI Korps Launches attack at Vilvorde against a mixture of French and Belgian Forces. Vilvorde holds due to stubborn Belgian resistance but is expected to fall within the hour. South of Vilvorde two bridges are captured intact and leading elements of SS supported by two heer infantry divisions gain a bridgehead and prepare to continue the advance westward.

XVI and IV Korps launch a combined offensive against the British 5th and 2nd Infantry divisions through the Gembloux Gap. Succeeding in slicing the two divisions, pushing the 5th north and 2nd south. Panzer and Motorized infantry of the 3rd and 4th panzer divisions rush through the hole. The 5th Division is expected to be encircled in the next couple hours while much of the 2nd British division, depleted and many units cut off are saved from total destruction by a river. Germans put a halt on the seizure of Tubize in an attempt quickly eliminate the british 5th Infantry Division and supporting Armored brigade.

XXVII Korps continues mop-up of Namur and prepares to support IV Korps in the push westwards.

5 German Korps push out en masse between Dinant and Givet grinding away the French. The number of french units broken on the field reassures German high command that victory is in the air and urge their commanders forward !!

Respectfully
Ocito

May 17th 1600 - German Turn

German High Command confirms that 95% of the British 5th Infantry Division has been cut off and surrounded. Panzers from the 3rd Panzer Div pushing around from the north with the 4th Panzer Div pushing around from the south. A lone british tank brigade attempts to keep a corridor open for the 5th but are quickly engaged closing the corridor.

High Command expects the center front (Fumay to Namur) to collapse by tomorrow afternoon allowing for rapid advancement.

Fresh German Korps makes it way to front in anticipation for a renewal of the southern offensive towards Sedan.
