Cal Bears travel to Corvallis, OR to play the Oregon State Beavers. Ordinarily, I would not consider the Beavers to be a big road block. However, for some unexplained reason, Tedford is 1-3 against them, and the Beavers have won 5 of the last 6. Go figure.

If the Bears don't take care of business this week, next week's game against the Oregon Ducks will be meaningless.

Rumor has it that if Cal and Oregon both win this week, ESPN's Gameday will be in Berkeley. Now that would be something.

Go Bears!

Wow. My Cal Bears had a surprisingly easy go of it against Oregon State. I never saw that one coming.

Smedley. Sorry about Bama. For awhile there, you must have been feeling pretty good.

And about them Dawgs ... ahem ... Time to right that ship.

This week, Cal gets Oregon at home. The winner gets the right to take a run at $C for the Pac-10 crown.

Go Bears!

Hi Nort,

We are the worst undefeated team in the country.

We have TENN Saturday in Athens. We will find out if we can get this sputtering motor to crank.

My wife was screaming at the TV so I had to go into another room.

Sorry about that Bama loss Smedley.

Good luck to all (w/ a few exceptions.). ;)

My poor Tide fell in the swamp and were lunch for some hungry Gators!

The SEC has the best teams in the country...........Aurburn, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennesee......................lets hope one of them wins the BCS!

What is going on in the SEC!?

Big Dawg? Are the Vols that good? Or did the Dawgs have an off week?

Smedley? Were is Bama going to end up?

Are the Hogs gonna run the table from here on out?

Can Cal avoid an upset prior to the $C matchup?

Tune in next week ...

Go Bears! Beat the Cougs!

Cheers,

Nort

I see Bama going 7-5 and landing in a minor bowl game........

Duke was an easy one, we still have Tenn, LSU and the hated Auburn teams coming up. :-(

It was good to see the Razorbacks beat Auburn! Looks like both of Bama's losses came against some damn fine teams.
