N '44 - A Question of Balance
I may have a N '44 campaign game lined up but I've read before on this site that many members have a problem with the balance. I'd like to know what experienced N '44 players have to say on this and what optional rules they recommend to even things out. Thanks in advance.

RE: N '44 - A Question of Balance
Well, if you are playing the stock campaign then it is tailored for you to play against the AI. In H2H play, an overly aggressive allied opponent can pretty much overrun the germans much faster than was even remotely possible.

This is due to many reasons. None of these reason are big by itself but there are many small reasons that, when taken as a whole, cause the imbalance. So, if you are going to play H2H play I would recommend playing the PBEM tailored versions, either mine or the one made by Pete Commons.

I agree with Volcano, his versions are more balanced. Explicit Supply also helps slow the allies if it is available.

Maybe wait until Volcanco has reviewed N44 with his latest changes.
