I use it occassionally Mike, it's a nice feature to have as it adds a bit of atmosphere and historical detail.

Wow, seems most people definitely use the feature, sounds cool to me. As far as adding historical detail and atmosphere, this is exactly what I'm trying to capture, although a few countries are very tough to find much on. The internet even has scant info, luckily I have a fair sized military library with 30+ titles on the KW itself!!! Well, back to the text input and pictures, thank you all very much for your input!!

I use the F2 function religiously. In fact, if it were not for F2, I'm not even sure I'd play the Campaign Series.

And your right about the scant info on various units Warhorse - whoever wrote the orginal unit descriptions is extremely knowledgable. It's definately somehting a game designer would want to take his time with...
