Hey I will play you! I am a long time player of ACOW and Battles in Normandy, but I am not that good and I have no clue still about how the thing works under the hood. I have taken a lot of time off and just got TOAW 3 and want to try a PBEM. Just Private Message me here on the boards and we can try that tutorial Korean scenario or Tannenberg or something.

if you use the beta patch I hear it messes up emails. So i have no installed it

Just to clarify, the public beta patch, available on the Matrix site to those who have bought the game ("Members") works fine in pbem, altho it does frequently generate a false message, "incompatible versions being played"; just ignore that. You should install the patch, and play that way; you will be able to install the official patch over it when it becomes available, it will fix a few more items. The big thing is, units won't reconstitute, and you can't drop airborne units from edge of map, without the patch, so depending on what scenario you're playing, it may or may not be a big deal.
