The Eagles Nest...
On our vacation to Germany last month, my wife and I spent a day in Bertchesgaden and got some nice pics of Hilter's Eagle's Nest, the only thing remaining from that time period. The tour we went on was supposed to include a trip up there, but late snow kept the road closed while we were there. Have to say that being in that area really made me think about that whole time period of WWII. Amazing what being in the place where a lot of the stuff you've read or seen took place really brings it home to you. Bavaria is beautiful, I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to travel. Germany was great.
