Is there anything that can be done about the spam posts? I don't want to have unsubscribe from emails.

Unfortunately, there's no "them". It's an it. 99.9% of "problem" spam is produced by a bot. The original programmer of the bot could be anywhere, Russia, Iran, either Korea, US, anywhere, but usually out of reach by authorities.
I agree, though, but I'd want to go much further than a law suit.

Yeah, I know we can't do anything about it. But, one always thinks of things if we could. Hitting them with a ton of spam would be funny. The ultimate would be a tree and a rope. :)
