Extreme Fog of War
What is the difference between normal versus extreme fog of war?  Lookd in the manual and saw no reference to it, nor did I see anything in the sticky topic talking about optional rules, other than one post with the box checked recommending it be used.

Thanks in advance for your time.

RE: Extreme Fog of War
From the changes.txt file:

- Added the Extreme Fog of War optional rule. When Extreme Fog of War
is in effect, the Visibility highlight only displays from friendly
occupied hexes. Also, for enemy units in obscuring terrain
(e.g., Forest), enemy force counts will only display as XXX
instead of, for example, 3XX.

Thank you for the clarification Sir.  I think I would dislike EFOW.  I think the way Regiments and Brigades moved in the period I should be able to determine to some extent if the force is 1XX or 3XX roughly.  If EFOW is used a Regiment of 100 could masquerade as one of 999.
