Long time no see

Long time no see
Hello all,

Thought I'd stick my head in the door and see if you're all still alive. Been busting it trying to get the solo practice off the ground. Market is saturated and business is hard to come by. End of the year is going to be critical.

As some of you may recall, we are expecting two babies to join our three year old daughter around February or March - well, we found out yesterday one is definitely a boy and the other is 90% certain a boy. Two sons. Great joy, but also great responsibility. LOL, anyone got 100 to 200 thousand dollars I can borrow? I have a great business opportunity, just can't get the freaking financing in this economy. (Where's my bail out?) :-)

Hope you're all doing well - I know I have turns sitting out there for months with some of you. Thanks for hanging on - the only turns I'm able to get to right now are Earl's campaign series and the WWII tournament (and I've pretty much resigned as Allied team captain on that one). As time becomes available I plan on getting back into the game more.

Best regards all,

Larry Reese

BTW, I've put my whole collection of WWII photos (some never before published that I am aware of) on line at TheTravellerSite.com. Check it out if you want; you'll find them under the Military History Traveller page.

And all the best in your new business venture! ... especially in this very tough economy... that is not "new business friendly!" :eek1:

Thanks for your update! cheers

RE: Long time no see
Thank you all for the kind words, in one regard we lucked out - a family we met in the NICU when our daughter was there after being born had twin boys and they just gave us all the clothes they had saved up for the last three years, so that saves some dough.

If I can get the solo practice on an even keel I plan to come back to regular playing (and posting). I actually miss the camaraderie and the challenge of the games.

An e-mail I received from a visitor to the site where all the WWII photos are asked me if they can be downloaded - wanted to let everyone know the answer is yes, they can be downloaded (I don't watermark either), rated, and even commented on. There are nearly three thousand WWII, and 17,000 images all together. The bulk of the WWII are from the eastern front and are private photos taken by individual soldiers (not the PKs). Most I've never seen in print anywhere before. Enjoy if you like.

Take it easy guys, and as always, watch your six and flanks for my T-34s...
