Scenario designer

c_Question Mark  Scenario designer
I wanted to run some tests and could certainly use a scenario with 6 T34-M43's and 6 Pz V's.

I don't need anything but a flat surface. Nothing but sand would be fine.

Don't need a large map. Could be 20 x20 hexes or whatever the minimum might be.

Would like all units within 10 hexes of one another and grouped 3 platoons apiece.

Now, this might take some time to create, so if I'm asking a big favor, just ignore this request.

If it is something that would take an experienced designer to create in 10 mins or less, then you have my thanks and I will owe you one.

My very best to all members,

Pat

Hi Pat

No, this isn't a huge request... would take hardly any time at all for an experienced designer.

But, this would be an excellent opportunity for you to figure out how the editors work... since the tasks would be straightforward.

Any questions, feel free to ask and I would be happy to guide you through the process.

RE: Scenario designer
Thank you so very much Jason.

I have some ideas for scenarios, but I've messed with the designer a little bit and can't seem to do something simple like getting a bridge to span a river hex.

All my bridges run parallel to the river and I can't rotate them ?

I'll contact you directly.

Thank you once again for your assistance.

Hi Pat, as Jason says, this should be a simple task - I highly recommend that you give it a bash yourself. Just remember that you need three files to make one (.map, .org, and .scn) you need to create the first two in order to make the .scn file.
If Jason gets too busy to help just let me know and I'll help out. Failing everything I'll knock you one up should be about 5mins work;)

RE: Scenario designer
Thank you Jason and Rick for your suggestion.

I will mess around with the editor and see what I can come up with.

Also, a special thanks to Dan C. for providing me with a scenario for my testing.

No worries, Pat.

Offer stands if you need a hand with the editors.
