Bridge Layers and tank transports
I doubt very much if this a new question, but is it technically possible within JTCS to simulate something like the Churchill Bridgelayers? I know of two types..the girder bridge which hung out in front of an AVRE, and the Ark, a chassis which drove into the creek and lowered its bridge down on top. DG included some bridgelayers in the OObs but these were eye candy only without function, as I recall.
And is it possible to simulate tank transporters, such as the mighty Diamond T M19/M9 prime mover/trailer combo? I believe we can now carry boats on trucks, (ie transport carrying transport) which seems to be similar in principle.

There are some bridgelayers in the game, look at the Germans in East Front for samples.
The others for other nations will be included in future UPDATES.

RE: Bridge Layers and tank transports
Thanks JP...I haven't opened EF for a long time.
What about tank transporters? Are they feasible?

That I am not sure. Would have to look into the coding for it.
Hope you're well

Not too bad thanks. Trust married life is all you hoped. We still communicate after 42 years.
Should I put in New Unit Requests on Matrix site?

No complaints and not much change, except for the jewelry. So that's a bonus. *laughs*
Yes, please do, it is where I go to see what units that should be added.

RE: Bridge Layers and tank transports
I was able to load T4 Minesweeper Shermans onto Engineers trucks in WF. It was quite useful.
