So what else ya playing?

Just a post to get some discussion going. I was just wondering what you guys play when you are not playing SP?

When I am not engaged in head to head death and destruction I will be either playing Galactic Civilizations 2 or Silent Hunter 3 /w Grey Wolves MOD.

GC2 is a space game where you start off on a home world, explore the galaxy and develp new tecnology. When you meet new races you try to either establish diplomatic ties, or prepare for war. How you play the game and resolve new world problems determines if your race leans towards, good, evil, or neutral. Obviously good races will gang up on evil etc.

SH3 is a WW2 sub sim, but the Grey Wolves mod makes it far more realistic. As they say, the mod takes it from being a "card game" to "star wars". It is truly awesome, and a free mod to boot.

I like playing all the Flight sims out now. FS2004 is great as i can import all these different planes from the internet.

I also play Silent Hunter, but just # 2 so far.

But probaly most time apart from playing Combat Mission and Steel Panthers is spent on the X-Box.:)

I sometimes play on World of Warcarft online, a silly addicting MUD RPG game on the internet called Dragon Court which is free to play. http://wild.ffiends.com/DCourt/Game.stm. Other than that I pout when my wife tells me to do this and that and take the garbage out.:happy:

I play almost everything
But my favourite ones are Rome Total war, Cossacks2 and HoI, ahh the CM series is cool too.

Eeesh.. now I REALLY feel OLD.. maybe it's because I've been using a computer for so long that could be considered old?

OK - I like to play on occasion..

Command and Conquer - Red Alert 2 dezire mod & Tiberian Sun gold mod usually on my LAN with my son..

1602 - an older building/resources management type of game where you start in the year 1602, explore the islands, build a city, beat up the natives, avoid pirates and combat 3 other opponents (AI or human) that are competing for the same resources that you are..

I used to play Age of Sail, but it seems that it's no longer compatible with my video card - or maybe it's just XP issues

Oddly - since WinMBT has arrived, I find that I am enjoying SPCAMO's work far more than the WAW variants.. didn't use to be that way..

Sometimes I wish I could find someone to play good old fashioned PanzerBlitz or Squad Leader.. but that hasn't happened in years, so now all I do is look at the game and have great memories of times past..
