I bought most of the series during the Matrix sale a while back. I've played the Roman focused ones a little against the AI. I'm not very good yet, but a h2h game sounds interesting.

I have just about every game in the series and from what I've seen there is a lot to like, even-though I don't really know much about the system and have light knowledge of the historical aspect covered , save the roman and Civil War period-but the Civil War based game looks very complicated.

Its another one of my series on my to - do list that I never seem to get around to in depth.
