I should add, old patches to the original game can be found here: https://www.theblitz.club/downloads/b-21...ir=patches, if you want to experiment with your old software.

Also, try installing the x86 version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...x?id=26368. It won't hurt your machine to have it. You can have multiple versions. It's required for the newer game too.
